Basically we will consume or make an excuse to “treat ourselves”.

The Aloha Collection- Founded by surfer/flight attendant Rachael Leinaʻala, and Kauaʻi native Heather Aiu, you must be living under a rock if you don’t know this brand. Aloha Collection uses a signature material that is LIFE PROOF. Bags that can weather, rain, sleet, snow, a dip in the ocean, a hike up a ridge, double as a diaper bag, a grocery store bag, a carry on, and a packing essential, that also can be completely wiped down with a sanitizer wipe.. Never enough and always worth the price, this company also gives back and donates 5% of profits annually to Hawaii conservation to help protect the natural beauty of the islands. Ummm yesss, All the aloha all over the world? What’s not to LOVEEE?? .. And yeah Flight Attendants are the MaGyvers of the sky.. so good onya ladies.. Not at all surprised when I heard this.

SHOP WITH BELEN- Before I go into how much I love this brand.. Let me also say that first and foremost.. The customer service is BEYOND. AS IN THE BEST. I have worked in customer service nearly my entire life.. And when I buy something with my hard earned money.. I like the respect that comes along with it. If you follow me on insta you know this brand is a staple of mine. Cute Basics that flatter the figure- forsure. What I also really love about this brand is almost every piece is named after a muse for the ever classic and emulated time that is “the 90s”.. Loungewear is also included in this line, and it is made with style- with a woman in mind because well, it's an all woman based company.. Genius

CLYQUE the label - I am trying to become a less is more kinda gal..kindaaaa.. somewhat trying to implement that into my wardrobe. I have worn these bodysuits literally all over the world and I have seen them on all types of bodies.. To be frank these bodysuits are the most flattering pieces of clothing I have. Well, maybe that is not 100% truue but it is PRETTY. DAMN. CLOSE. Soft like a second skin, fits like a glove and cut with a thong in the back.. These bodysuits are an investment. The designer Lily Adel was born and raised in LA.. she had a vision of a collection that is polished and can be worn day to night. “Much like your CLYQUE, they come in clutch at any moment. They are named after my CLYQUE and also match the personality of whom they are named after.” My personal collection includes: Sivan, Oralee, Tiana, Donya, Jenna annnd I really want be besties with Belen, Lily and Sophie .. Maybe also a Tara? Bc in my mind I’m already in the CLYQUE..

TAN LINES- founded by Sivan Ayla, a trusted Blogger, who turned her personal style into a mega brand. TL was first launched as a bikini line. TL offers classic pieces that you can mix and match including a selection for your mini ranging from newborn sizes to 3T. Just recently, TL SPORT dropped and when I tell you the fabric is like buttah- you gotta feel it to believe it. Personally, I feel like good workout gear is an investment. Both sides of the brand offer affordable price points. Designed for every woman in mind, I have never felt more sleek and styleee. Annnnd this mega blogger isn’t done yet.. spoiler alert: her other product makes my lipstick effect next week too.

I know times are hard but maybe you’ll see this and save it or bookmark it for when you just feel like you fkn deserve something. Bc retail therapy is a thing.

That’s how this entire theory became accepted as a valid explanation of a phenomenon that is THE LIPSTICK EFFECT and while I don’t encourage spending beyond your means.. I do have to say that alil bit for yourself sometimes can go a very long way.

All the brands I mentioned above are small businesses and are run all by women, which I think is super cool. All of which I shop regularly and have been living my life in. Be sure to let them know your a #babeonamish
